Local Conservatives from the Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard Conservative Association (DALBCA) welcomed The Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt MP to their Annual Dinner on Friday 26th as their VIP Guest. The event was held at Dunstable Downs Golf Club and was a sell out success.
Cllr Nigel Young, Chairman of DALBCA welcomed and thanked Penny Mordaunt for attending the Dinner, and presented Thank You gifts from Priory House, together with flowers. Thanks were extended to our local MP Andrew Selous for facilitating the invitation, to the delight of local members and guests.
Penny was brilliant, inspiring and engaging and brought an excitement to the event, with her presence and powerful address. Penny Mordaunt is Member of Parliament for Portsmouth North and is Lord President of the Council and Leader of the House of Commons.
This is the first Annual Dinner for Local Conservatives under the new name of DALBCA since the transition from SWBCA, under the new parliamentary boundary changes.
