As a result of the Parliamentary Boundary Changes the constituency boundary for South West Bedfordshire was changed this year (2023) and the wards of Eaton Bray, Kensworth, Studham and Whipsnade were transferred into the boundary of Luton South.
South West Beds Conservative Association will cease to exist with effect from 30 September and a new Association with the name of Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard (DALBCA) will be formed with effect from 1 October.
At the Special Meeting of members on Saturday 23 September, the closure process of South West Beds Conservative Association was agreed and the opening of the new organisation, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard Conservative Association was agreed. The name of the new organisation 'Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard' was that specified by the Boundary Commission. Here at the Association, we have certainly not forgotten Houghton Regis and Heath & Reach, which are also included in the new constituency boundary.
